Yes
It was there 25th wedding anniversary on new years eve. Dad didnt buy my mum anything basically because they never really do buy anything for one and another on celebrations. My mum had bought him and her a holiday to Feurteventura going today for a week.
Mum surprised my dad with it at 11.30 new years eve he was overwhelmed. Hours later he turned around and said he didnt want to go, god knows why. But my mum threw a shoe etc... Bad bust up!
They're okay again at the minute - she's in the canaries and he's at home.
I must say though - if there aren't disagreements and arguments in a relationship then IMO its not proper. Don't forget they've been together a while, they bound to boil each others piss!

pairents used to argue a lot due to my sister being well one of the 5 circles of hell
mum wanted her gone at 18 but my dads a very forgiving man and was willing to let her have another chance again... god the arguments that caused...
they dont argue to bad anymore but when they do they go hell for leather thats what you get from 27 years of marage,,
me and the misses argue a bit but thats because im home all day and i want to bery her mum under a patio but that just makes a healthy relationship as you can voice your inderpendent opinions
