.... but hey, it's a long time since I had a car to bother doing it in Plus I've spent out a fair amount on it since I last posted pics; just none of it really shows!

had a full service and various sensors and other little niggles ironed out by Jamie (shrek) & Tom (Tomnova16) of Lemass - legends. Now runs a whole lot smoother, better MPG etc.

Also had exhaust welded up as I ironically caught it on a dodgy bit of road outside Poweflow in Brighton when getting a quote for a new exhaust I will be changing the exhaust at some point for something totally different - probably whole system change.

Also had Tom busy with spray gun to do me some custom bonnet lifters in satin black and chrome, a Tigra scuttle panel "de textured" and sprayed satin black and the mirror base plates. Got a few ideas up my sleeve for subtle bits to be painted, but will see yet. Also had exciting things like a boot pop fitted and fitted some arch liners.

Other than that, the main aim is to tidy up the engine bay, replace a few more mechanical bits and bin the air filter in exchange for an airbox.

As you can see, the engine bay certainly needs a good tidy up, but it gets filthy as soon as I drive it atm. Bad enough trying to keep the outside remotely clean; 30 miles and it's white again

Probably won't bother putting a project thread up yet as not really done much else!

The rocker cover would look good in the same colour as the car

I wouldnt even bother trying to have a clean car in this weather though as its just pointless!

I am toying with the idea, but I also like the standard look lol. Will see when the weather improves and I start tidying the bay up!

Also was hoping to have modified gear linkage on it by now, but am still being fcuked around by eddiesport on here after 3 weeks of waiting. Currently having u2u's ignored

Arch liners? I do? I even mention it in my opening essay

They weren't on there when Phil had it as D90's and liners don't get on!

Looking tidy Rich I was thinking the same about the rocker cover, and paint the spark plug cover the same as the arches

I've had a PAS pump for an XE from eddiesport and he sent it prompt mate. He's maybe a bit busy, I wouldn't say he's a bad guy though.

I'm hoping he's not, but I've given him plenty of benefit of the doubt etc etc. He's coming online regularly too but not replying to my PM's. Will see. If not I'll be doing a proper disputes thing

Phil - especially for you I was bored so decided it was about time I got some pics for you!

Yeah the old wheels pulled the arch liners in one day on the M3. Smelt a bit funky when I stopped...

Cheers Chris, yeh Grove Garage. However, I don't think I'll be going there - something just didn't feel right to me about the place from the moment I pulled up

I keep toying with this for the wheels. Normally it's not something I'd like, but for some reason I personally think it looks alright:

Opinions?!

Mmmm, think I prefer how they are now.

Not sure what colour to do mine. Toying with the same colour as yours, or matt/gloss black.

Do you live far from Brighton?
