every morning i have to scrape the ice off the inside and outside of the windows in my corsa. my door leaks and if it rains overnight i normally have a frozen puddle just under my pedals when i go to drive it aswell, think i gotta sort it out because its takes a good 45 mins to sort the car out before i even think of driving it somewhere

In a VAG it's probably because the door seals have failed and the carpet is swimming.

I had it bad in my C, Put it in the warm hangar in work overnight with the de-humidifier in it and took 250ml of water out of it.
It's probably the pollen filter. It needs changing badly.
I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

check the pollen filter housing, leaks from there, and also theres vents behind the bumper which can cause issues, iirc fro had to sort them on his golf
Indeedy.

Was getting in around the edges so I sealed them up and not had any problems since.

Cleaning the windows inside the car can reduce it a bit too

My car is awful, due to the leak i have in it at the moment. I have to drive everywhere with the AC on. But, when it's 0 or below outside, the compressor doesn't kick in, so I have to drive with the windows down
Is that, in like, a brand new car?
Well yeah - didn't you know brand new cars are shite?

My barge (Mondeo) iced up on the inside of the windscreen as well as the outside this morning
I changed the pollen filter too, but I'm a bit dubious about the quality so I might go buy an OE one from Ford, see if that makes any difference. Not sure how I would go about finding where the source of any leaks or whatever may be.

Nope, more like the cars people slate have survived this whole escapade and the supposed 'VAG' build quality cars can't survive, pussy holes

Car with the aircon switched on but turned to hot, slightly de-humidifies the air coming in, so it should de-mist faster with air-con.

Anyone got a 12v dehumidifier?
http://www.aircondirect.co.uk/Amcor_Mini_Dehumidifier_MD250/version.asp
Like so, so I can just leave it plugged into a power pack in the car, as I cleaned the cars interior and couldn't dry it properly.
