Will they still take you for a minor op if you have the cold? I dont have a temp yet just stuffy head and sore throat. Good timing! Anything I can take to get rid or keep at bay? Ive been taking vit C all week.

Don't think they will Kirsty. I had one a few weeks back and was in the leaflet they handed out that any colds or coughs and the op would not go ahead.

I couldn't eat all day which pissed me off before hand

nothing

should be ok if its not to bad,depends on the op.

also do you snow in your area?if so check that the op is still going ahead, most hospitals have cancelled out patients and minor op's

The snow isnt that bad here. Its for a laparoscopy.

Guess I'll just have to wait and see what they say Monday morning, I'm going to be pissed if they push it back!

ring first thing monday morning to see if its still going ahead. im the mean time try and get rid of the cold.

they wouldn't opperate on me when i had a weasy chest. i felt perfectly fine, and didn't know i even had a wease lol

gauranteed to end up getting mrsa with the state of the hospitals up here
