hey im just about to buy a mantzel powerbox for my x16xe . i know its a direct replacement for the top half of the inlet but what else do i need? i hear that u need to take the egr valve off and get a blanking plate is this true . any info would be apreciated!

no you dont have to blank the egr of at all mate... just fit mantzel, move throttle body, pull the wires back out of the loom so the tps can be plugged in its new possition, fit the plate supplied with the mantzet that covers were the throttle body used to be, fit the pipe from that plate to the mantzel, fit new vacume hose from master cylinder, repossition throttle cable.. job done buddy

I want an orginal mantzel but really rare and are pretty pricey, although has to say they are cheaper than what they are new

my mates got one for sale, its still on the engine and i think he'd let the hole lot including engine and box for 300, ideal for track day spares
