I think the death penalty should be used at LEAST on rapists, paedos and those who attempt or succeed in killing others.
And prison punishments should be much more harsh, build more prisons if you can't cope, don't give a murderer 5 years and a computer hacker 50. It's all wrong.

It'll will say incident probably due to pending investigation. A 7 week old baby is completely defenseless how anyone could do anything is totally beyond me!

Trouble with the death penalty, like so many other things, is those 2 magic words "human rights" if someone/ group does like somthing they'll just say its against human rights.
And above is just the stupid reality. If something (god forbid) did happen and they guy got caught, he'd get x number of years. You go fuck him up and get many more years. This country and its legal system is a joke.

If people felt that the punishments they got were suffice:
a- people would be a lot less likely to commit crimes in the first place
b- people would not feel the need to go all vigilante on the person.
although in this case, he deserves it when he gets fucked up. But i'm curious as to how (and this sounds sick but it's not meant to), how he was unable to kill at 7 week old infant? It's lucky to be alive

The trouble with that is you get alot of women who cry wolf with Rape, and I believe a percentage or rape claims are after thought regrets.

Like it or not, everyone is entitled to basic human rights.
Death penalty would certainly help our overcrowded prisons, but then it brings in a fresh set of issues - convictions for people where there is reasonable doubt as to whether they committed the crime or not for example.
It's not as black and white as people like to make it out to be.
