hi mates

what i need to change my 1.4L dohc to 1.6L dohc

is it same wire loom
same ECU
wt about if i change the maniful of my 1.4L to 1.6L

need help please

If you are on about corsa sport engines i.e x14xe to x16xe then yes, the wiring is the same, you need to change the ecu ( and immobiliser ring and key chip to match) but the rest is a straight swap.

there is a chip inside they key you will need and a transponder around the ignition barrel

will run, but will be running lean only slightly but over time it will damage the engine!

all you need is a X16XE engine, X16xe ecu and the matching transponder and chip for the ecu...

what type of damage can be caused?

normaly you can just go down a scrapyard and find a x16xe corsa with ecu and transponder, then go to the place you pay for the bits and ask wether you can have a key for the car in question as then you can have the chip out of it..

and damage wise, if it runs lean for a length of time you can cause damae to your pistons and valves ect
