As above really. Saved a few quid buying it used but can't use the game as it's been registered in the previous users name. Searched for options but nothings come up.

Is there a way of deleting them from its account or re-registering?

How did you purchase it, on CD? Because there is no way of transfering games between accounts otherwise, although it might be worth emailing Steam as see where you get. Only way of selling a game, is to sell the actual steam account. And what people seem to forget is that you don't actually buy the game (if you download it), you purchase a "lifetime" rental of the game.

so it's definitely a steam copy? contact them, they might be able to sort it out! Have you contacted the seller? As i'm sure he/she has to delete it from their account, although don't be suprised if the seller sold the CD and is continuing to use the game.

Ta, isn't the steam version totally downloaded from steam though? When you install the game it takes you to steam's site to register, and that's where the problem is. Have contacted the guy and he's looking into it but he's been fucking slow the whole time, hence wanting to bypass waiting for him to sort it. Looks like a refund to me!
