hence why i stopped buying 99 ron fuel although it only worked out an extra tenner or so a month (£2.50 on 50 litres of fuel) so isn't so bad really.
i had to stop using it because my car stank of eggs.
Egg? What fuel was that?
It was $79 a barrel 15/01/10 for reference.
tesco 99. took it into ford and they said it was due to the sulphur content in the fuel? not sure if theres any truth in that but tesco 99 certainly did make my car smoke a lot.
stick to tesco normal unleaded now, works fine.
Ahh yes, i should of known it was Tesco. Although the octane rating is higher than that of BP/Shell there still isn't the same amount of addative in the mixture.

Can you only get a fuel card as a company? Probably minor compared to what you use as a company but I'm still doing £400 a month atm and that's with a Berlingo and a standard Zetec S, and I'm looking at getting an Astra VXR next so will use more

fuel is so fucking expensive these days, what was that thing mr clarkson was on about a couple of years ago where if everybody who owns a vehicle doesnt buy petrol for a few days it will have a massive effect on the fuel companies and they will have to lower costs or go bust??? i cant remember exactly but it would be cool to try out

Just to let you know. The majority of profit for fuel companies is made from the 'exploration' side, rather than the retail. Also, fuel batches are bought months in advance of them reaching the pumps, therefore fuel being retailed today, would have been correlated to the price of a barrel of oil ($USD) from upto 6 months ago.
