Ian has probably already contacted paypal telling them he's conned some corsasport members, so open a dispute with paypal and inform them that he has conned you, they might refund it immediately because they know he's done it to others.

why do these threads not get deleted as soon as there listed or have to be a premium member to sell things? there must be a way to stop all this?

There isnt a way to stop it before it's happened, we don't always know people are scammers. We do try to prevent it best we can, you guys just never get to see any of that part.

There was a thread a while ago about how we could stop scammers but there is no real way. But because of that thread ages ago it was advised to always get full names, email, address, landline and mobile numbers. Adverts are always asked to post pics to prove they have the items so any advert without pics be wary of. Also look at the date the member joined if its a new member with a limited profile then be wary again. There are always exceptions to this but atleast if you follow those things you have less chance of being conned and losing money.
