What are peoples thoughts on these, apart from looking a bit like a grandad/old fashioned mobile(which is soon sorted with a few small changes) they seem a lot of car for the money. Insurance is the same as my old Clio 182, combined MPG isnt much different either at 28. Quite rare on the roads, 3.6 V6 and push button spoiler

They never used to appeal to me...at least untill they only fetched £6.5k,lol. I think with the spoiler up and the grille done black they dont look too bad. Comes with tiptronic gearbox(which is supposed to be good), CAT 1 Alarm which my insurance will like and a few other goodies. Cant think of many better/faster cars newer than 2004 for less than £6.5k than i havent already owned

if you like it then go for it, but remember it is daimler so bits will fall off and it may even be a rusty heap like all other mercs from around the 2000 year. get one as cheap as poss too coz they depreciate real bad

Thats the thing though, they have already depreciated really badly over the last few years and may have bottomed out = Cheap car.
