hi just wandering if any 1 could tell me if i could run 6x9's off the same amp as i use for my sub or just run the 6x9 off the wiring for the rear speakes ?

i would just run them off the rear speaker cables unless ur sub is very loud . set the gain on ur amp to ur liking and on the head unit take out the base to speakers use them for just trebble /mid

what amp do you have?
if you want to run the 6x9s and the sub off the same amp you'll need a 4channel amp or above.
but as said, you can just hook up your speakers to the original wiring for the rear speakers, however, depending on how loud the sub is, it may not be very beneficial.

its a spx 800 watt amp 4 channel the sub is 1000watt kenwood i think the sub is not set up really basey its just so you can hear it in the back ground. would it bennift from beening ran off the amp ?

whats the sub running off atm if not the amp?
and yes if you bridge two of the channels for the sub you will have 400w going into the sub (so yes would deffinately benefit from being ran off the sub)
and then you will have two more channels left in which you can run your 6x9s of with 200w each
should be a decent set up

yeah the sub is ran off the amp. how does it work with the channels like for the power new to it all so not sure

basically, the output "wattage" is divided into 4 channels each of 200w each.
to link up a 6x9 speaker to the amp, put the + wire from the speaker into the + terminal in the amp and vice versa on each channel
to bridge 2 channels for your sub simply put the + from the sub into the + terminal on one of the channels and the - from the sub into a - terminal from another channel
