The other day my car started to become a bit tricky when trying to get 1st then got even worse in 1st and now started to become tricky in 2nd. I then got under the car when it become inpossible to select reverse, i found a little plastic bit on the gear linkage had broke and come out of place. I put it back inplace and it is now fine but still needs replacing. Does anyone know what the little plastic thing is called? Also weather i need a different one with it being a c20xe? Cheers dan.

no it sits on a round metal ball and then fits inside a hole? if thats any help?

Is it circle shaped and hollow and comes with gear linkage?

no, it just a white plastic clip thats proberly the same diamiter as a 2p coin i can try and get pictures of it tomorrow but i need to no what its called so i can buy one.....

yeh i would of thought it would come with the gear linkage it was greeced up abit aswell? wb

no its not them little white bits. I would post a pic back but i dont no how..... it fits on the end of that on the ball bit on the end?

ah, i know what you mean. they have a ciclip that is supposed to hold them onto them balls basically. maybe lost that? no idea if you can get them from vauxhall anymore.

yeh thats it, no it holds onto the ball but its snapped, ive got the clip and i would go to vauxhall but i live quite far away and cant get a lift, and dont really want to drive my car as it is .... so i was goin to order one of the internet but dont no what there called wb.

ive no idea either, or if they are available from anywhere on the net. could go to a scrappy and get whole linkage so you have spares perhaps?
