Had the MOT on the corsa yesturday. Failed but only on:

- Nearside handbrake cable
- Nearside front brake hose


Not bad for a 17 year old car. Got the parts today for £22. So going to fit them and take it back to get the pass slip

Got a few advisories to sort out but they shouldnt cost alot and are relatively easy to do so all is good.

I was pretty happy. I didnt even have time to give it a check over. Just booked it in and hoped for the best.

Ours is on Saturday for the Astra, nothing obvious it is going to fail on (like bulbs, windscreen cracks, sharp bits, tyres) but it had an advisory last year for a rusty backbox that he reckoned would rust through this year, doesnt sound any different to me but we will see

had mine last thursday mines a 16 year old car, just needed welding on the front cross member and under the brake servo £60 done =)

Mine went for its MOT yesterday and i cant even remember everything it failed on
