rebuilt my 14xe and now only have the timing to do i marked all the pulleys up before taking them off but took the pulleys off the camshafts when they were out so now dont know how they are supposed to go back on, can anyone help? and any tips on timing please

also how do i know its at TDC with the head on?

It's a compression tester, maximum compression will be reached at top dead centre.

Is there not a key way for your cam pulleys? There is an the C20XE.

the cam pulleys will only fit on one way on the 14xe and as with the bottom crank pulley.Make sure the marks on the pulleys line up and the same with the bottom pulley then tension it up and check the marks.
