I pulled the pants off my mates old 20vt Golf in my old Mk3 Astra Gsi.And the Mk3 Gsi's arent what id call quick.

Standard form the Golfs are slow,with a remap it improves them,but certainly dosnt make them quick imo.

Astra VXR's with more BHP are around 14.5 down the quarter.

A Mapped ko3s golf running circa 200 bhp can do it in 14.9, not much in it considering astra has more power.

its the weight that the golfs suffer from, my mates ibiza with a ko3 and a map ran a 14.7. mine with the ko3 and just a map ran 15.1.

there not slow tho, with the ko3 and just a map I could easily sit with blob eye subaru's and they have more power. It was rr'd at 191 bhp and 210 lbs dunno what it will be now

No, read it quite clearly. I used to own a mk3 ibiza cupra which was circa the same power as your claiming, and was always neck and neck with a couple of CTR's. So your statment of "pulling their pants down" seems a tad far fetched to me, that is all

yellow one wasn't it? you only had the ko3 turbo if I remember right? what boost was it running? my power was just a guess tbh.

dont be daft, they arent that heavy! what are you comparing them to? an EP3 is 1200kg and the MK4 is around 1200kg too, so there isnt going to be anything significant is there?

Red, standard K03 turbo, fmic, forge tip etc etc. Made more power than my mates civic but both were equal in a straight line.
