Lighter pellet, more speed = better accuracy..
These pistols aren't designed to shoot people/animals they are for fun and target practice.
If you want to kill things/hurt people you are looking in the wrong place lol!

Sorry to correct you chris, but a lot of tests prove that a .177 is better in wind due to the fact it is a faster moving pellet and has a smaller area affected by wind.
Another point is many many people prefer .177 for hunting as it has a flatter trajectory so easier to shoot and will kill vermin easily as well as .22 if shot in the correct place (headshots only).
I used to be quite into shooting .
