Does the sport bottom inlet fit then? I thought the head had different shaped ports on the xel?
a modded 1.4 could easily be as quick as a standard 1.6.

I'm using a X16XEL for my project, de-restricted inlet manifold, port and polish and an exhaust system should open it up a bit. The L at the end of the code stands for Low output (or something like that).

Low output yeah, less bhp but more torque.

Ah right, I thought it was equal bhp but less torque.

Its the head that's restrictive anyway aint it? So a port and polish + inlet mani would see a gain.

There are, "cathedral" shape ports, oval ports, and I think another type, which ones are best I forget, which is a shame as I made a thread asking about them too.

Inlet manifold, 4-1(or 4-2-1), de cat and cat back system. That should sort you oot! Although I'm not sure if there are any difficulties fitting a powerbox to your head.

It's got a bottom sport bottom inlet so should fit fine

put the 4-1 on last night and it seems to pull better but wont go past 110mph in 4th... but doesn't hit the limter :S going to try 5th sometime and see if it does any more
