Another forum I occasionally visit - British Mods also had a very similar problem recently - wonder if they were on the same server tbh. It was always going down with no warning.

AFAIK doesn't Tim/Ian run all of this through a colocation service, so doesn't rely on a middle man, just the datacentre themselves.

It always amazes me how many people spend thie hard earned spare time on site development etc and then just rely on a 3rd party to back it all up.

With space not being a premium its easy to do.
