can anybody confirm that this would work without a spiggot ring and wont ridge the pad?

It does work without a spiggot ring, but it will ridge the pad - not badly at all, mine have been on since August without a problem, but it will cause a bit of a lip on the pads.

what size engine is the meriva to get 280 mil discs ??

cheers tom_simes great help and the discs i intend to get are for a 1.8 meriva
