Just a question about powercaps on a c20xe . Do they do anything apart from make a converion easyer ?

I dont have one on my nova you see and i can get one , and wonderd if it was worth it

I used ecotec pipe, bulkhead needs butchering to get it to fit.

eco tec pipe fits fine with no mobs but need to cut bulkhead for power cap

Better off with the Sfi box and iirc,it fits fine in a Nova bay with an XE.

the sfi box wont fit in the corsa bay iirc thats why people do the eco pipe

Yes but were not talking about a corsa.

I had an Sfi box on my XE corsa.Had to modify it to fit mind you but looks sooo much better.

later style sfi boxes fitted better in a nova. the earlier ones were a touch bigger. i had to chop mine down and re sealed it at the back.

all the cars ive driven with powercaps/eco pipe/sfi box have made next to no difference tbh.

yeah. they actually lose torque fitting one over an sfi box.
