i want to take a cam from a astra 1.6 8v engine and put it in my corsa 1.2 how much diffrence will it make

eventhough it does sound a bit daft

It depends on the lift and duration of the cam in question, that is if it fits in at all.

IIRC it does do a little bit, theres a thread over on PNG about 1.2 8v tuning, and it mentions swapping for a 1.6 cam and using a 1.3 or 1.4 head i think

just put the 1.6 8v in the corsa ,,,,,,,, 8v conversions are easy

could i put a 1.6 8v from an astra on the corsa wiring with an astra ecu coz mine is on a distributor cap

i have a 1.4 head to go on mine surely a 1.6 cam has too much lift and valves would hit the pistons
