I never knew this place had been shut down

Even though I only went about 5 times when I was 8-13yrs old, I have really, really happy memories of the place.

Strange really. Its just the other side of town and i must of been 3 times ever

Use to have a mental log flume and big roller coster then they took them down and tried to appeal to younger kids (like under 8) and it never took off. Stupid idea, it was the death of the place.

Seems really people on the 'internetz' talking about something which is near my pokey little town.

I learned to drive on their carpark, use to see loads of learners down there!

As a kid I used to go atleast once a week in school summer holidays, had a bit of an explore after it was shut down, was saddening to see it like that, unfortunately had to leave site before getting any pics.

I bet I last went in about 1997, just a one off on a rainy day with my mate, other times was when I was there with mates and parents, used to love the wild west shows, I really liked the theme they had, they really made an effort to keep the wild west theme and as a kid, you used to get really into them

I'm sure it was there when I went on my first ever looped rollercoaster. Was called Iron Wolf or something.

My dad took me down there in his work van to teach me how to drive

They had two amazing rides (at the time), The Missile and Iron Wolf
