What came first? The Chicken or The Egg?

Egg...
As for example you could have 2 species cross breed to make a new species.
Before the new species is born, you would have an egg for the new species but not a living version of the 'new species'.
So ... the egg would come before the chicken.

it could be how paul said it, or it could be the chicken. chickens evolved into what they were and then eventually started laying eggs instead of carrying young

It wouldnt be a chicken then if it didnt come out of an egg, it would be the last evolutionary step before the chicken was created (i.e. its kids who were born via an egg)

after going to nandos today there was some facts...
longest recorded flight of a chicken was 13 seconds... theres more chickens than people.....top speed of a chicken is apparantly 9mph
