To fit a 1.6 sport. Out of the aftermarket inlets eg flame, manztel, lexmaul or vx which of these are best for off the line performance? acceleration. not bothered too much about top end. Thanks

Lexmaul low down fella, others are better top end but to get the full benefit you need the limiter raised. Lexmaul is bolt on fun

can only comment on flames. Worked well on my car, well worth the £130. The mantzel would have to be amazingly good for me to justify £300 but from what i hear you get the same results and it has the same effect on the engine. Sometimes my EML came on but that may be down to the fact i had a de-cat.

I found the lexmaul and mantzel to be pricey but can then hold their value. I have a decat and lexmaul but dont suffer with the eml coming on.

If I had the choice, I'd take a Lexmaul over any other. My Mantzel was good when it got up the revs, but it was fucking gutless below 4500rpm.

ok then, get a mantzel but an ebay supercharger aswell, so that spins up for the first 4500rpm then the mantzel takes over. i think that was what Eck was trying to say.

one in classifieds, along with engine cover and strut brace. Very fair prices too, most go for around £300. Also your safe buying from a moderator of the site
