Not into match fishing though it bores the shizzle out of me. Nothing beats river fishing out in the countryside or a spot of sea fishing

Don't do match fishing as a rule. Spend alot of time pleasure fishing.

Carp fishing bores me - i'm not one for sitting watching a rod pod. I intend to spend the season chasing decent bags of bream and tench.

My biggest tench to date is 6lb 9oz that was from my local canal fishing 1 2.8oz hooklink to 4lb line ad a size 6 elastic lol that was one hell of a fight.
it wouldnt be a proper every fucker sits on their peg not talking bla bla bla more of a get together of all os corsasport anglers

My personal best on the River Severn fishing about a foot off the bottom over a ledge on 2 halibut pellets and PVA bag mix. 9lb 10oz Barbel. Fought like a bitch for a good 20mins and stripped a good 200ft of line off the spool!

Edit: Excuse the shit pic it was a few years ago now

ive stopped match fishing as such but if it for a decent reason i still will. i prefer carp fishing now as its not too serious and dont have to be sat in your peg all day. im defo up for a fishing day, whether its course or carp fishing.

oh n jibjob spot on barbel my biggest is 6lb but only river we have is the tidal trent which u need a 7oz lead to moderatly hold bottom lol
