depends tbh
most sri's are 8v sports are 16v
sri's are pre facelift, sports are post facelift (so different bumpers and bump strips and seats)

from my experience 1.4 8v sri are faster

What year is the SRi? Later ones have the 16v engine and are basically identical to the Sport.

it is weird this one, i got a corsa 1.4 16v, which i thought was a sport, but logbook says its and sri??? and in my opinion the 8v is quicker

Those old 1.4 8v sri engines can move when they want to. They go alright for what they are.
