Was fun that day we went Matt

They've had vans up there for a while, Matt had a close encouter with one whilst trying to overtake a bmw

Did anything come of that in the end?
it was cheeky as fcuk though with it being just a silver van with a camera poking out

Them people are too slow

I've done it in my 1.2 Corsa and I don't know if I'd manage an average of 50 but my car with a 1.6 I'd guess probably could. It depends cos obviously there'll be a few cameras along there so it depends where they are. I hit 95 at one point where it's a fairly straight climb but some of the twisty bits aren't all that slow.

So not a stationary camera as they are fitting but a moveable one like can be positioned on 100% of uk roads?

This time of year is quiet good really. Can be a little damp, but nice and sunny at like 9-10 am on a sunday. Use to batter the peak district in the corsa days! No wonder the gas escaped the shockers

Cheshire/Derbyshire Police were using "disguised vans" for a while; as said above, horseboxes and builder's vans have been used. I'm sure they stopped this about 18months ago when legislation over camera sites and their markings was introduced but Ben J is right, they did use disguised vehicles/trailers as camera locations
