Hey, my mates 96 x14xe's EML is on and we had it put on diagnostic and the codes came back:

47: Linear exhaust gas re-circulation (EGR) position
43: Primary ignition (distributor systems): High voltage
16: Knock signal circuit

Anyone had these problems before?
And how did you fix them?!
Any help would be greatly appreciated

EGR is a very common fault,clean it out or replace a bitch to get to, 43 sounds like coilpack problem so i guess you will have to replace that , and 16 knock sensor needs to be replaced, that should keep you busy for a while and cost you a few bob too, oh the joys of motoring.
