Wiping my computer on monday, going very slow recently, Dunno why.
Anyway to delete everything but preserve my vista? I don't have a disc you see it was on the pc when I bought it?

There should be a program somewhere where u burn a start up cd with vista etc on it.

Sometimes you'll have a recovery partition as well.

If its a genuine copy and a computer from a known manufacturer then you can often buy cheap official copies of Windows to put it back on.

Chances are, before you wipe it it'll ask you to save the Vista onto discs.

Okay, thanks eck. I have done all this on XP before but, I had the discs and didn't get taught how to do it in any other way. Gay.

Cheers cosmo. No thanks noshua, I don't fancy moving over just yet. And downloading, ill end up getting that 'we don't think your copy of windows is legit' popping up eventually. Cba with that. But thanks for the idea.
