hi im looking at getting a new gear box for my corsa ideally i would like a dog one but i dont have thousands to spend lol so was just wandering if anybody has any ideas of what to put in? thanks

If you don't have thousands to spend, then the origional is the right one for you.

no feelin the standard gearboxes on a corsas not enuf pull in second

put a lighter flywheel on it.

that's probably not to do with the gearbox, that'll be due to the engine.

does anybody know where i can get a f28 gearbox from then, theres none on ebay bt id rather get a brand spanker if possible, can you get them from a vauxhall dealership?

The standard one, nothing will make a difference as it's not the gearbox which is the problem.

Depends if you want more top end (so less RPM at 70mph), or be quicker off the mark.

Change the flywheel/clutch while your there too.

Id go for a wide ratio F15, might be hard to find though.

god knows and yes sand eel f28s do fit 1.6s i have one on mine

even if he did this, it wouldn't reach maximum revs in 6th gear, no chance on earth. You're better off with just the standard F15CR to achieve speed quickly while still using all the gears properly. But 6 gears does sound cool
