Any reason you want to rag it to the red line? Not all the power is on the redline ya know
PS This is how I killed my last engine

if you bounce it on the limiter, you'll have your pistons bouncing on your valves as well. Then you'll have much fun replacing it all and getting it running again like i'm having right now (i had to replace valves for different reason though, lol)

thats probs why the redline bounces slow mine does only done it once to see what it was like and my x16xe does 80 in 3rd gear but redline but only made it bounce twice when i did it an i think its better around 4000 - 6500 mark thats where most of the power is on mine

yes, the power dips before redline, so there's no reason to redline a car, it just increases the load on the engine and makes it more likely to damage something

I had a soft cut limmiter then a hard cut on my corsa, but mine made power right the way to 7900. soft cut was at 7800, hard cut was 8.

lol, be that as it may, standard corsa engines hit peak power before the limiter, also, hitting the limiter is not healthy and will only make your engine's life shorter if done repetitively or for a long period of time.

Are you sure yours has a limiter then Weddy as the standard rev limit for an XE is 6800rpm.

I Have No Idea Of The Answer To Your Question. But I Would Like To Know How Come You Start Every Word With A Capital? Its Actually Taking Me Longer Time To Do This. Quite Annoying Too.

The limiter is an ECU thing no engine components are bouncing on eachother otherwise you wouldn't be able to raise the rev limits with after market ECU's.
I'm guessing he wants to redline it in maccy d's car park to look cool as i can see no other reason to want it to bounch off the limiter.
Hit the limiter in my Z by accident and it cuts the revs by about 1k I think before it picks up again, now that's slow
