quite frankly its a ballache, im using the drill bit placed backwards into the top of the selector bit but its an absoloute bugger to do, its not lining up very well at all, any one got and advice?

Ahh mate it takes ages
Did exactly the same to mine when I actually snapped the corsa linkage
All I can suggest is trial and error!

2 people, one slackens and tightens the nut, the other positions the gear stick. sod the drill bit etc. might work fine with a std corsa gearbox and std corsa linkage.
just make sure the bolt tightner and loosener holds onto the end that you are not moving so your movements do actually change something.

put the box in reverse put the gerar stick in reverse tighten up
