hi guys, autoglass came to look at my windscreen and they said it couldnt be fixed with the resin stuff... but they will replace it for 75 instead of 175 thanks to my insurence

but it wont fail MOT as it isnt in drivers direct line of vision

a few guys off here have said there breaking cars and will sell me the gsi/ sport windscreen...

however... i have seen these diy tinting kits on ebay.. although they all seem to be interior aplied..

note: i do not want a sunstrip .. just a plane or fading black tint on the windscreen...

the rear view mirror stops me from being able to aply the interior vynal.. so i was wondering if any1 has or can get a link to a DIY exterior windscreen tinting kit, or advise me that the interior kit could work outside

thanks,

the sunstrip would be best on the inside man

my mate bought a fiesta with a sunstrip on the outside and the windscreeen wipers kept hitting/rubbing on it

If you ask them, autoglass probably would have supplied one.. they did for my old corsa sport and said they would have if i'd asked for my silver corsa.

yeah your right autoglass will do a gsi windscreen for 400 quid rofl!

or a "tinted 1 " for the same price as standard... but my insurence wouldnt cover that and i dont have 175 quid to spend on a tinted window

and current windscreen wont really get any worse

surely if they're replacing it you should argue that it should have the tint on, like for like???
