Its a wierd set up the coolant, the expansion tanks not even pressurised. The rad hose is always soft & theres a gurgling noise when you accelerate Silly car

Cooper S looks more normal under the bonnet!!

Theres a valve in the engine bay that pressurises the coolant in the system you can unscrew it and screw it up.

Even though thats the old shap (with it being a convertible) is it a turbo like the normal ones of tha age?

That said I did ask when driving it if it was a turbo model as it sounded like a SC whine, but the sales guy confirmed turbo

agreed. my mum has one. i hate them with a passion.

They are lisenced by Bmw, but im sure they sub-contract Fiat to build em...they seem to fall apart!

As above, shockingly overpriced too!

oh yea...and the PAS pumps always sound like they are about to pack in too!
