I had a job interveiw in Gloucester on Friday and decided to kill 2 birds with one stone and head up to the 'Elan Valley' in Wales seeing as I was half way there.

Fantastic roads around the area, with hairpin bends after hairpin bends, flat out straight sections to steep inclines and declines on almost empty roads.

I had already done the 'Evo triangle' and the Brecon Beacons and black Mountain passes so hit mid Wales, got to go back there tho as I only had a couple of hours.

It ended up being over a 450 mile round trip and took me 4 hours to get home. Wales has some of this country's great roads and if you get the chance head over there.

Anyway some photo's

Biggest downside was outside Hereford I hit a pothole the size of the Grand Canyon and done this

to one of the Softstars, OUCH. But all sorted now, I beat it out with a hammer got it almost back to round and just stuck it on the rear.

No, thats the only picture I have.

The badge is there, its been painted over with satin black paint, so has the rear one. They were all manky and the front one stone chipped/dented so instead of buying new ones (no point as its a go car not a show car) I had a spare tin of paint lying around so just painted them.

theres one thing I love about living in wales, and you've quite clearly shown it here, once you get away from the motorway and dual carriageways, some of the roads really are immense. Went for a spin up the black mountains today, gets better every time

Yeah, well worth the trek. Summertime is better, there was snow on the hills and some ice still on Friday.
