hi, right i will try keep this as simple as possible.... a few weeks ago my car wouldnt start, i ran the battery dead trying to start it, tried bumping it/jump starting it, and still nothing, anyway after much confusion, i finally narrowed it down to the fuel pump not priming, i put a live onto the pump and it fired first time.
now, every so often (once a weekor so), it does it wont start because the fuel pump wont prime and it takes that little buzz of power onto the pump to start.
i have changed the fuel pump, changed the relay, and checked all fuses, and even crank sensor, but still i cant find a cure. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME
thanks

Dodgy bit of wiring somewhere, only thing it can be besides a bad earth on the pump, but seeing as you can put a live to it and then it works....

bad contact on ign switch maybe ? at a guess I would say ign energises the relay that supplys live to pump, or bad wiring somewhere.
