sounds very silly, i know
but ive rebuilt my x16xe engine and ive nearly got it back together..
although ive found a plug and i dont no where the fuck it goes.
it comes from the wiring loom which wraps around the inlet manifold.
the other plugs that come off it plug into the cam sensor, egr valve, knock sensor, throttle body etc.. but im left with 1 last plug..
heres a pic.. any ideas ?

It's your idle control valve mate, on the side of the throttle body.

TPS is the throttle position sensor
Both the ICV and TPS are attached to the throttle body

The top right one is the TPS plug,
the green one is your MAP sensor
and the 4 pin is the ICV.
It is fairly easy to get to with the battery out.

Yeah soon as you text me that Sean said about idle air control valve it clicked. Sean's right i remember as 8 valve multi-plugs identical. Get it sorted and get it on the road ... Ill give you a shout later in the week about the Mhw's cause if you got the cash you may aswell pick them up when your about!
