Polo will be crap for the money imho or old
Suzuki Swift (like mine) can get 2003 reg for that money with electric windows, mirrors, PAS, etc...

i have done 8k miles in mine since September including some 200 mile trips, and nothing went wrong as yet (touch wood) a lot of stuff is made in japan( like electrics). I have only done a service(oil and oil filter, plugs and leads, air filter) and it runs really well and doesn't miss a beat.
