Can garages buy one at a time or must they be bought in pairs? Just want to make sure I'm not about to get scammed

Why would you even think they wouldnt be changed in pairs??Does Eck not teach you anything?

Some you can get as singles, you wouldn't want to fit them singly really though.

You can buy them as a single, but it will give you uneven braking. Would be like replacing one set of brake pads. A garage wouldnt allow this. (Well id like to hope not anyway)

You cant be too careful though, my Sis nearly got charged for Spark Plugs on her diesel once. Good job i learnt her well!

As said, you can. But with brakes I'd always do both sides of the component you're replacing.
