As above - mine was fine until I changed it for a new one, not had a chance to look at it yet, how do I go about sorting it?

old push bike tyre cable tied around axle

slacken the U clamp, twist the back box and re tighten

I cut an exhaust rubber and cable tied it round the beam .... found out my exhaust was hitting the cable that runs along the top of the beam though

I should say that it's only been doing this since I replaced my rear beam - I didn't touch the exhaust while I was doing it either.

Raise the car on its wheels on a ramp and loosen off all joints then have a play. Its normally the clamp that catches on the beam.
