Was wondering if anyone knows if a vectra or astra is better to insure for a first car than a corsa as money will be tight on a £80 pound a week apprenticeship!

yeah... my location is a A i think but my quote for a 1.0 is crazy! might just have to try and fork the cash out! already have a few corsa's but dont run them myself they were just bought to sell, might keep a 1.0 for myself and and stick in a 1.2 16v

Why not just buy a 1.2

A 1.2 16v hikes the insurance up to a group 2 and from brothers experience going from a 1.4 8v to a 1.2 16v his insurance went up 200 and that was after his 2nd yrs no claims and hitting 20 'supposedly bringing it down'! And to be fair why not stick a 1.2 in? since i have everything lying around anyways! no need for another loom or anything!
