I've noticed in my B that when you're stationary, say u have 1/4 tank, it'll go up half a tank when braking, and into the red when going round a right hand bend, and the light is always off and on
But my old C didn't. The fuel gauge was always only in one place, and once the light came on, it was on until u filled up.
So what's so different? And can exchange parts to make the fuel gauge on the B abit more accurate?
Thanks.

My B's fuel gauge is really slow but will move slightly when going round roundabouts etc. My mates (also in a b) it really loose and mvoes alot more freely. Im guessing mine is how it was built and his is broke some how?

Would be interested in this too - mines massively inaccurate from half a tank downwards, 1/4 of a tank downwards and I don't have a clue how far I can go!

I think it's just the fuel sender?
Chris - go in a Corsa C, you'll see the difference. Every B i've had suffer from it.

Moka - Naa, it'll be something within the tank that tell the dash how much is remaining, they've obviously improved it on the later Vauxhalls.

Both of my Corsa B's were rubbish for this.
A3 isn't affected by going up or down hills or round corners which is nice.

Its just due the fuel sloshing around, Corsa C's most likly have the sender in a better location (Not at the front right of the tank), maybe it has sections in the tank to stop it.
If the takes and senders etc are all similar its most likly the gauge moves around faster on a B, than a C.
TBH, its nothing, get over it.
