But then trucks make money out of being on the road, same as company vans. All my vehicles are for personal use and make it a con when I'm still hitting pot holes as deep as the Grand Canyon

Monaro is even worse, 200 or 400 depending which day you registered it.

Pretty much anything tax related they'll keep the same as labour, I'm sure. That way every time someone complains they can't blame it on them but keep the income rolling in.

Besides, the country needs the cash.....

very well said.

We have the shittest roads in Europe. FACT.
We're the most taxed country in Europe, FACT.

what the fuck is this government playing at? They're also thinking about increasing VAT on food? Do they not understand that some people can not afford this. They tax us and rip us off enough, if they wanna tax us so much on our cars, they should think about making quality roads and maintaining them because this is bollocks. We didn't put this country into recession but we're the silly cunts paying out the arse to get it out.

how does making more money from us, help save the planet? It's not like people will NOT pay the car tax prices because most people NEED cars to get to work. It's extortion. If we all owned the cars where you did not have to pay road tax, they'd then start taxing them or taxing others thing more. It's not about saving the planet, it's about lining their pockets. We need a government that aren't so fucking thick at wasting our money and isn't so greedy and corrupt. Unfortunately, most the parties are shit or don't get voted for enough.

so my car was registered last year so it doesnt apply to me but if you buy a band M car as of next month you pay £950 !! WTF

They really dont want people to own performance cars these days do they

I've scanned that about three or four times and i'm still not entirely clear.

Do you know whether or not the horrid hike on band 'M' cars applies to stuff registered before March 2006 Steve?
