Hugely disspointed with Transformers 2. So not holding much hope for this at the moment.

Clash of the Titans is where its at atm. Only cos the original from the 60's was mega

Very impressed with both, visually both were fantastic.

hope it not turn stupid though and be another power rangers type of cheap film

if micheal bay was smart or an actual fan of transformers he would of made sure that prime stayed dead in the second one.

And the fallen could of actually had revenge.
instead the fallen had his arse handed to him.
i would of left optimus dead, the fallen would of had his revenge leaving it up to hot rod in the 3rd movie to level up the playing field.
now its prob gonna be some arsewipe of a story about no civil war between autobots and decipticons

I've got an even worse feeling that they'll concentrate wholey on 3D in the next one, forget even more about storyline, involve more gay little transformers which were never in the old series, even though there's 100's to choose from, and make another general mess of it.

It's a fantastic film to watch on Blu-ray, the CGI and the sound are amazing, but as a transformers fan the second was awful.

Hot-rod hasn't even been mentioned yet! He should of come into this one, become Rodimus Prime and kicked ass in the next one. (I did love Hot Rod though!)

Making devestator into some weird crab/scorpion thing pissed me off too, why not make him a giant decepticon like the cartoons?

Michael Bay's forum is the best place to keep an eye on, since he first posted here about Paramount contacting him for a suggested date:

And as I said above, bay wants less robots, so expect more of a storyline (I hope anyway!)

both transformers 1 and 2 are ace films, people tend to forget that to appeal to mass markets they have to update them a bit.... most kids wont know what a cassete is so sound wave could hardleys go arount releasing transforming cassete tapes every where like in the cartoon.........they brought it bang up to date. hot rod is no where near as good as prime, and i dont think kids would really go for a pink car nowadays.

they are new films not 80s films and they are brilliant. i bet blur, the dinobots, galvatron or unicron never feature. i have the origonal on dvd also but thats for a trip down memory lane......... where it should stay
