Running a shit box atm and im sure its making the car slower it also has weird top speeds in every gear 60 in second 90 in 3rd and it wont pull to the limter in 4th but does 110 and still has loads revs left to go...
My question is will a 1.0 12v box be better? because I've got one in the yard doing nothing

What the hell is on that, its not an F13 thats for sure. tbh, doesn't even sound like a F15.
In fact, even the F20 only does 59mph @ 6700rpm limiter on 16" wheels (and thats from a big block engine).
Stumped. Whats your rev limter? It should be 6620rpm.

My F15 did 55-60 on the clocks, in second on the limiter... Probably about 50 proper speed...
Best box for a 1.4 would be an F13 IMO nice cose rations... I dont think the f10 with fit correctly? The clutch would slip like a bitch aswell!

C20XE has a 6800rpm limiter iirc.Just for future reference.

Rev limit is about 6300 iirc.
Box wise, go for a standard F13CR, can be picked up cheaply enough.

Now if you re-read my post,you will see my reply was aimed at VXR saying the C20XE(im assuming thats what he means)has a 6700rpm rev limit when actually its 6800rpm.

It's standard so the limiter is 66 or what ever it goes to... what does the f13cr come in? and will the 12v box 100% not fit

Standard Rev limit is roughly 6650 iirc
My tuned 1.6 with a 8500 rpm limit did 75ish in second going of the clocks, hope this helps mate

get a power box that will give you a bit more pull though the gears!

All I want to know if its fits lol and will bottom end be better???
This box is shite was going down a hill and done 121mph in 4th and it still had a few revs left? wired box :S

I had a 1.2 16v box on my Black 1.4, it was decent, was quick as fook for a 1.4.
