Before you do get them powder coated, use a place that gets good reviews. I've taken my bike wheels to coaters and had an ok finish, then tried somewhere else another time and had a brillian finish.

Jimmy, I presume you will know where CAS coatings is in Eccleshill. That's where I just had mine done. cheap, but I reckon you could get a better finish.

They look mint! I presume they will be lacqured. My Dad's were, they had an excellent finish. They said mine wouldn't need lacquring but I wish I had it done anyway I think.

Cjohnson, yeah i used them for my RS250 wheels. They did satin black then clear powdered them. they came out mint. But sometimes if they're rushing the finish can be so so. Can't fault them for price compared to Triple S in Bingley.

Nah these arent laquered just powder coated, shouldnt need to laquered powder coating, laquer chips and peels were as powder coating can only be scuffed or scored. Dont understand why you would laquer powder coat

sprayed you just spray in the booth..

powdercoated is they heat the wheels to about 230degrees in an oven, taken out, sprayed with powder (the colour of your choice) then put back in the oven to bake/set..

powdercoating has a stronger finish

Think they are confused with powder paints you used as a kid to paint pictures of your mum with your hands.
