hey all i got 3x 1200w subs can any 1 tell me what kind of amp i need to power them n how do i conect them all together thanx ben

I'm getting a 1000w sub on saturday fitted and i've only got a 300w amp to go with it, which will do the job just fine.

Depends on RMS power of the subs.
Peak power
How you want to wire it up
How much you want to spend
Have you got boxes, fuses, power cabling etc

Does anyone actually do any research these days for themselves

im running a 15" jbl 1000watt sub on a 1600watt toxic amp and the wiring kit i got is a 20 quid 1 from halfrauds and its a good one its a vibe one 8 something but it pumps good bass out in a my corsa

My advice.

Budget subs, keep with budge amps.
Good subs - Get a good amp, do NOT get a budget poor quality signal amp as it'll fry your system.

I'm running one of them too, not bad for the money, I've got a vibe monobox 1200w peak one to power it (400rms I think).
I spent Ł35+ just for the power lines and connectors never mind the audio cables and headunit ones.
