I loved my XE, wouldnt mind building one of my own.
With an F18 and an engine that was rolling roaded at 169bhp i had my satnav reading 144 on a private road, speedo needle was well past the 140

in terms of c v joints and shafts. Ive ran over 400 and 500 powers for a few years and only snapped one shaft and one c v joint started to click. And it gets a hell of a lot of abuse. If people do conversion then use old 2nd hand c v joints maybe they go.

In my corsa you knew when you were in triple figures but in the golf and the nissan you couldnt really tell unless you looked at the speedo.
