For sale due to change of plans





Comes with XE inlet cam, LET exhaust cam, square tooth pulleys, 16 lifters, steel valves, steel caps, double springs and if I recall correctly bronze valve guides. It's also had the chambers mirror polished, valves professionally lapped, face skimmed and all the ports enlarged/smoothed/knife edged. You can almost cut your finger on the knife edging

It's only been ran for a few miles/hours since those pictures so won't be quite as clean but should only take half an hour to clean up. I've already jetwashed it thoroughly with the cams off to clean it up and remove any oil.

Perfect working order. One of the cam cap studs has been helicoiled (not a problem just worth mentioning) and the water outlet under the dizzy is a threaded brass fitting to replace the rusty standard things that break

The only one I can see on ebay after 5 searches has some nasty pulleys on it, no steel valves, no bronze guides, no double springs, no port/polish

To raise it up to the spec of my head you'd have to spend maybe £1500 on parts and labour, making this a bargain!

I saw one in the scrapyard for a fiver, with everything on it.

It was off a Montego diesel though
